Pediatric Dentistry
Dental care for people under the age of 18 is crucial for their oral and overall health! We like to do “happy visits” where the kids get comfortable with the office environment, they can play with the suctions and get used to the “noises”!
We prefer to see kids as soon as their first tooth erupts, at this visit it is mostly a sit down with the parents to discuss how to maintain proper oral hygiene. Our goal is that your child be cavity free.
In general pediatric dentistry involves cleanings, regular check ups and xrays. If any decay is detected then fillings will be recommended. We will also monitor how the teeth are growing in and if braces will be needed in the future.
We strive to make our office kid friendly, we have toys, special tooth brushes, and tvs for them to watch their favorite movies on. We encourage kids to even bring in their own favorite dvd and they can then watch that while we work.
